What
does Lewis TaeKwonDo teach?
Poomse (forms) A pattern of systematic techniques that allows the student to practice defensive and offensive moves by themselves against an imaginary opponent.
Gyoroogi (sparring) Our style of TaeKwonDo is an Full Contact Olympic Sport. Our school the U.S.A.T./W.T.F. rules. Protective gear is required. Lewis TaeKwonDo sells all the required equipment.
Grand Master Lewis also teaches: Street Self Defense, Breaking, and Terminology.
Grand Master also teaches his students the “skills” needed in life balance, eye-hand-foot coordination, flexibility, memory, knowing right from left, listening. As well as social skills.

Classes
Weapons Class:
This class is designed to develop a familiarity with a variety of weapons used in Martial Arts. Students may choose one of the following weapons to train with:
Samurai Sword, Bo Staff, Escrima Sticks, Nunchaku, Sai, Tonfa
Competition Team: This class is designed for those member of the school who wish to compete at tournaments both at the Local and National Level.

SELF DEFENSE WORKSHOPS
This program is designed to build life skills through simulated attack scenarios.
This class can be tailored to specific participant needs such as police, women, bartenders, first responders, teens, etc.
In the Workshop students will learn:
Physical Skills: Krav Maga, Ground, Seated and Weapons Defense
Mental Skills: Situational Awareness and Firm Verbal Responses
